Ellie W. Cottingham Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellie W. Cottingham of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Watson Wall and Catherine "Trina" Myers Wall; and her husband Curtis Franklin "Frank" Cottingham. She is survived by: her children, Christy C. Carswell (Alex) of Moncks Corner, SC and Douglas F. Cottingham (Sarah) of Hopkins, SC; her sister Judy W. Mout of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Abigail Carswell, Mac Cottingham and Lila Cottingham; and her close friend Fay Hopkins of Moncks Corner.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (112 E Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
