He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mazyck Lloyd and Elijah Lloyd; his brother Bernard Elijah Rivers; and his grandparents, Mattie Simmons and Oliver Simmons.
He is survived by: his daughter Shelia Johnson Rivers; his siblings, Rochell Lloyd of North Charleston, SC, Donald Lloyd (Samantha) of Summerville, SC, Veronica Richmond (Ronald) of Columbia, SC, Kendrick Bernard Rivers and Pauline Ieshia Rivers; his uncle David Ellington (Jeddy) of Moncks Corner, SC; his close friend Pastor Michael Samuels; and his friend James Poinsette. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
