He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pinkey and Beulah Farmer Walker; his wife Helen Burnett Walker; and his son Edgar Keith Walker. He is survived by: his brother Jack; his sister-in-law Pauline Walker of Moncks Corner; his children, Blair Walker (Jenny) of Sharpsburg, GA and Carmen Walker Massingill (Lynn) of Senoia, GA; his grandchildren, Seth Walker (Anna) of Milledgeville, GA, Jacob Walker (Kenzie) of Denver, CO, Xander Massingill, Maddison and Baylee Massingill; and his great grandchildren, Anderson and Thomas Walker.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Chapel (107 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Berkeley Memorial Gardens South Carolina (SC-6, Moncks Corner, SC).
