He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julius William Harke and Isobel Nixon Harke; his daughters, Ruth White (Dennis) of Swansboro, NC, Donna Harke of Holly Springs, NC and Lynn Harke (Michael Jay Morse) of Raleigh, NC; his brothers, Victor Harke of Florida and Julius Harke of Arizona; and his grandchildren, Matthew Carl White and Emily Patricia White. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
