He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Sharper Gadson; his children, Mark Pyatt (Della), Venus Gadsden (Roscoe Jackson), Michele Bowman, Olivia Goodwine, Shanika Goodwine, Myra Sharper, Myiesha Sumter (Tremaine), Angel Sharper and Marla Sharper; his mother Ethel Lee Gadsden; his siblings, Barbara Goodwine, Mary Borden (Harris), Cynthia Fulton (Jerome), Geneva Pinckney (David) and Dexter Gadsden (Debra); and his mother-in-law Edna Powers. He is also survived by grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
