He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Sheftall Pollins and Haddon Philip Pollins; his wife Jonnie Marie Adkins Pollins; and his siblings, Philip, Richard Pollins and Ettalou Pollins Polite.

He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Adkins Harris (Tommy) of Portsmouth, VA, Kaleisha Pollins (Javon) of Moncks Corner, SC, Earl Pollins Jr. of Allendale, SC, Kevin Pollins (Janette) of Springfield, MA, Bobby Adkins (LaToya) of Charleston, SC, Daryl Pollins (Elizabeth) and Bryant Polins of Rocky Mount, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
