He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther James Porter and Kathleen Hudson Porter; his son Adam Bruce Porter; and his siblings, Barbara Ann, Linda Gayle Porter, Hudson Porter, Luther Terrance Porter, Robert W. Porter and Joseph Lee Porter.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Austin Porter; his brother Charles Porter; his children, Matthew Porter, Robert Porter (Dayna) and Jessica Tallon (Charles); and his grandchildren, Madilynn Porter, Kaelyn Brodish, Ryker Porter, Brayzen Porter, Madyson Tallon, AnnaBelle Tallon, Porter Tallon and McKenzie Ferguson.
