He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie M. Mixson and Ida Belle Hood Mixson; his children, Marilyn Theissen and Danny Mixon; his wife Annette Martin Mixon; his daughters, Pamela Joanne Atkins of Macedonia and Robin Stalls (Phil) of Macedonia; and his daughter-in-law Vanessa Russell of Summerville. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
