She was predeceased by: her parents, Jefferson McLendon and Irma Booth Ellis. She is survived by: her husband James "Shorty" Bridges; her children, Lynn Leviner, Renee Van-Derpoel (Tony), Elaine Knight (Desmond Miller), Timmy Bridges (Diane) and Lance Leviner; and her siblings, James McLendon (Billie), Anne Swilley and Jane Gray. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
