He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Roberts and Kathelene Christian Roberts; his fiancée Addie "Nita" Cumbee of Moncks Corner, SC; his children, Carolyn Jean (Russell) of Norfolk, VA, Therese Sawyer (Mike), Bryan Roberts, Charles W. Lamm of Jacksonville, FL, Robin Stern of Goose Creek, SC and Sara Roberts of Ladson, SC; his adoptive daughter Lanitra "Nitra" Chatman of Summerville, SC; and his siblings, Carol Graves (Ernie), Margaret Day, Clyde Northrop (Chris) and Gene Northrop (Maika). He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
