She was predeceased by: her mother Patricia Seigler Hiers. She is survived by: her father Eddie Lester Hiers, Sr.; her son Joey Fort (Crystal) of Moncks Corner; her siblings, Elizabeth "Liz" H. Marion of Easley, Gail Hiers Rabon (Winston) of Bonneau Beach, Eddie L. Hiers, Jr. (Judy) of Charleston and Glenn Hiers of Easley; her grandchildren, Ashton Fort (Samantha), Tyler Murphy and Ryan Locklear; and her great grandchildren, Patience and Gabriel.
