He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Butler and Celia Butler; his brothers, Gary Butler and Arthur Butler; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Butler and Karen Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Butler; his children, Derrell Jenkins, Brittney Pryor Butler, Patrick L. Pryor, LaTonya Jenkins, Therode Shine and David Shine; and his siblings, Helen A. Davis (James), Johnnie Hutchinson (Anna), Ralph Butler (Sandra), Kenneth Butler, Anthony Butler (Cindy), Wanda Butler President (Raymond), Harold Scott (Bonnie) and David Mack. He is also survived by grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
