He is survived by: his wife Bertha Green Simmons; and his children, Barbara Darlene Mathis, Barry Rush (Kimberly), Franklin Simmons (Erica), Calvin Simmons (Natasha) and Wanda Simmons. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins.
