She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald L. Tumbleston; and her parents, James Manning Altman and Pearl Cooper Altman. She is survived by: her children, Gerald L. Tumbleston, Jr., James Clinton Tumbleston (Michelle), Paula I. Hopton, Sherri C. Simonin (William) and Vickie L. Arbogast (Robert); her sisters, Sally Altman and Nina Epps (Scott); and her grandchildren, Joseph Sumersett, Holly Hopton, John Bianchi, Noelle Bianchi, Katie Tumbleston, Emma Tumbleston and Sophie Tumbleston.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc. (3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston, SC 29414). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Live Oak Memorial Gardens (3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414).
