It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Horak (Moncks Corner, South Carolina), born in McClellanville, South Carolina, who passed away on December 16, 2019, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Jack Marlowe and Ann Smith Marlowe; her children, Becky A. McGarvie (John) of Summerville and Eddie Horak, III of Moncks Corner; her siblings, Georgette Benoit of Layfayette, LA, Eunice Driggers of Moncks Corner, Libby Litchfield of Macedonia, Angie Smith, John Marlowe of Goose Creek, Joey Marlowe of Charleston and Richard Mitchell of Macedonia; her grandchildren, Michael Legnard and Harley Legnard; and her great grandchild Madeline Forsyth.
