He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Leon Edens and Ida Mae Gatlin Edens; and his sister Elizbeth Barnette. He is survived by: his wife Reba Millwood Edens; his sons, Stephen Edens (Sherry Clark) of Moncks Corner, Charles Edens (Debbie) of Moncks Corner and E. G. Edens (Amy Ciassulli) of Alvin; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Morrison, Leon Edens and Thomas Edens; his great grandchild Kit Morrison; and his sister Iris E. Dennis of Alvin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
