She was predeceased by: her sister Rachel Tanner; and also Howard Mitchum, Jr.. She is survived by: her parents, Colel Dudley Nettles and Ruby Sauls Nettles; her children, Melinda M. Ross (Terry) of Woodstock, GA and Roger H. Mitchum (Debra) of Pinopolis; her brother Jerry Nettles of Santee Circle; and her grandchildren, Courtney M. Barts and Cole Mitchum.
