He was predeceased by: his father Willie "Sonny" Adkinson. He is survived by: his mother Jewnette Heyward Adkinson of Moncks Corner, SC.; his children, Adjon'i Miller of Phoenix City, AL, Christian of Orangeburg, SC and Jenarah Adkinson of Orangeburg, SC; his siblings, Joseph Romero Heyward (Ilesa), Horace Ronald Heyward, Tony Sims (Latechia) and Romona Adkinson-Shaheed (Omar); his cousin Julian Doyle; and his friends, Michael Tye Brown and Norman Ransom. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
