He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Mae Heyward Gadsden and Fred Gadsden Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Kristine Polifka (Martin); his close friend Leonor Dalesandro; his daughter Alyssa Dalesandro; his grandchildren, Kevin, Khalaylla and K'Mara; and his siblings, Charles Gadsden, Bobby Gadsden (Jennifer), Earl Gadsden (Virginia), Carla Samantha Gadsden Palmer, Henry Gadsden (Ricky), Janice Smith (Leonard), Corine Thompson (Dale), Peter Heyward, Freddie Wilson and Elijah Wilson. He is also survived by aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
