He is survived by: his significant other Anna Codes; his daughters, Debbie Jones, Rosalind Jamison and Desiree Miller; his grandchildren, Terrance Brown and Shanté Jamison; his great grandchildren, Ka'Maria and Kristian Brown; his son-in-law Nathaniel Jones; his siblings, Herlene McMillian (James), Asiley Jack (Curtis V.) and Frances Taylor; his aunt Nufferall Goodwin; his uncle Henry L. Sanders; his siblings-in-law, Sam Codes (Barbara), Robert Codes, Fred Codes (Marcy), Terry Codes (Annette), Leon Codes (Carolyn), Douglas Codes, Norman Smith, Otto Spruill, Rose Smith, Mary Chavis (Jimmy) and Shirley Codes; his adoptive children, Gwendolyn Wynn and Gunnery Sergeant Jahbari Codes; and his cousins, Delores Limehouse and Clarence Jamison. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was loved by his wife, Anna, who took very good care of him during his illness, and went as far to say that she learned humbleness from him during this Covid-19 pandemic.
