It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Morton of McCormick, South Carolina, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruben Martin and Cleo Haskell Martin; her husband Grover Cleveland Morton, Jr. (Moochie); her daughter Linda Morton; her siblings, James O. Martin, Mildred M. Brown and Sarah M. Salters Boyd; her grandson Jermaine Morton; her niece Carolyn Salters Howard (Coochie); her nephews, Charles Martin (Donkey) and Curtis Martin; her daughter Diane M. Hayden; her grandchildren, Shawn (Mann), Juan, Ricky (Candy), Sharma, Kareem and Lisa; her great grandchildren, Jamell, Dominique, Kristoff, Cameron, Jordan, Talia, Bria, Lil Rick, Jayda, Lee-Lee and Rashawn; her great great grandchildren, Sa'Lay, Jaelyn, Kylan of Logan, TJ, Ava, Camryn, Ma'Kaja and Reigh; and her niece Jaunita Y. Brown.
