He is survived by: his parent Nellie Carr McElrath of Candler; his sister Sheila Plemmons; his father-in-law Hall Warren; his siblings-in-law, Furman Warren and Julia Warren; his wife Luuana Warren McElrath; his children, Savannah McElrath of Clyde, Rosalinda Tassin of Clyde, Amber Martindale (Forrest) of Waynesville, Autumn Reece (Johnny) of Waynesville and Steven McElrath of McCormick; his brother Parker McElrath of Linville; and his mother-in-law Eula Warren.
