He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tompkins and Fannie May Harrison Tompkins. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn P. Tompkins of Lincolnton, Georgia.; his daughters, Roslyn Jones (James Robert) of Mt. Carmel, SC, Carsonia Quinn (Patrick) of Lincolnton, GA and Sabrina Freeman (Rayford) of Plum Branch, SC; and his brother Larry Tompkins (Melony) of Greenwood, SC. He is also survived by grandchildren; thirteen (13) great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home - McCormick (6300 Hwy 28 S, McCormick, SC 29835). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church (1680 New Hope Rd, McCormick, SC 29835).
