He was predeceased by: his parents, John Willie King, Sr. and Ruth Mahaley Wideman King. He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his children, Janice King and Michael King (Tina); his siblings, Betty Ruth and Jackson Ray "Butch" King; his grandchildren, Mallory King and Brandon King (Brandi); and his great grandchildren, Alice and Kyrie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harley Funeral Home and Crematory (1025 Main St S, Greenwood, SC 29646). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Plum Branch Cemetery.
