She was predeceased by: her parents, D. J. "Bug" Atkinson and Gladys Lyle Atkinson; and her daughter Kelly Leann Nalley. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Kelly Martin; her sons, Donnie Nalley (Cathy) and Jason Martin (Tiffany) of Statesville, NC; and her sisters, Sherry Nichols of Houston, TX, Janet Nazar (Mano) of Salem, SC and Angie Atkinson Rhodes of Rock Hill, SC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Providence Care Hospice, 500 Lakeshore Parkway, Rock Hill, SC 29730; or to a charity of one's choice.
