He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Goins and Esto Butler Goins; his daughter Pamela Lynn Goins; his siblings, Harvey Glen Polston, Otis Elwood Polston "Buddy", Dorothy Clark, Martha Turner (James) and Mary Lisa Shelley; and his close friend Russell Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa "Lisa" Goins; his children, Robert Glen Goins (Susan), Buddy Lee Goins (Ryan), Brandy Carlisle (Eric), Terri Goins Dorsey (Mark) and Patricia Goins Saunders (Jerry); his pets, Patch and Bocco; his siblings, Donald Goins, Billy Goins (Bertha), Lydia Pearce (Ben), Patsy Womack and Jimmie Vessels; and his grandchildren, Audrey Grooms, Ruthie Grooms, Hannah Grooms, Alyssa Goins, Evan Buxton, Krystal Goins, Aerie Sligh, Gracie Sligh, Liberty Dorsey, Alex Dorsey, Christopher Howard, Jr. and Jeren McKinney. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
