With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Smith of McColl, South Carolina, born in Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2021 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex David and Mary G. Williams Smith Smiling; and his siblings, Gerald Ray Smith, Donald Everette Smith and Melba Bodgen.
He is survived by: his children, John "Jay" Smith (Jessica) of McColl, Shannon Smith Flowers (Ricky) of Hartsville and Sherri Ransom of McColl; his sisters, Martha Thrower (Frankie) and Naomi Smith; and his daughter Susan Kim Sierra. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P. M. on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Rogers Funeral Home. ***Due to COVID-19 and the regulations set forth by the CDC and local governments we ask that all attendees please abide by the social distancing guidelines and wear proper facial coverings. ***.
