With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Allen (McColl, South Carolina), born in Loris, South Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2021 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gladys Allen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Paul Sessions and Essie Wade Sessions; her husband John B. Allen; her siblings, F. I. Sessions, Eddie Sessions, Claude Sessions, Willard Sessions and Shirley Thompson; her grandson Eddie Johnson; and her great grandchild Olivia Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Jack D. Allen (Lisa) of Cheraw, SC and Barbara Caulder (Don) of Rockingham, NC; her grandchildren, Robin Johnson, Paul Allen (Sara), Natalie Allen, Mark Allen (Carolann), Matt Allen (Alisha), Kim Herzig (Joe), Donnie Caulder (Doris) and Teresa Floyd (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Emily Brown (Jeff), Rachel Johnson, Morgan Allen (Andy), Spencer Allen, Gracie Allen, Lauren Allen, Brad Herzig, Anne-Marie Herzig, Kinsley Allen, Makayla Allen, Hunter Allen, Trey Caulder, Brittnee O'Neal, Ashlee Floyd, Alyssa German, Madison German, Savannah German, Taylor Allen and Ty Allen; her great great grandchildren, Jake Brown, Emberlee Wolfe, Hampton Wolfe, Ava Allen, Ava Brown, Parker Herzig, Owen Herzig, Annalee Chappel, Landon Jernigan and Jase O'Neal; her niece Vicki Allen; her close friends, Frank and Wanda Brody; and her sister Patsy Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
