With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude Springs of McColl, South Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2020 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her husband George Lloyd Springs; her parents, Gaston Carter and Callie Revels Carter; her siblings, Johnny, Blanchard, Ruby, Laura and Estelle; her children, Jackie, Brenda and Donnie; and her grandchildren, Dee Dee and Jerry Don.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Jerry Springs (Peggy) of McColl, SC and Nancy Springs Bullard (Kenneth) of Winston-Salem, NC; and her grandchildren, Kristi, Chris, Jody, Joy, Jeri Lynn, Matt, Misty, Bobbie Jo and Donna. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren; special nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be 11 am, Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Beaver Dam Cemetery, officiated by Revs., Donald Deal and David Brown. ***Due to COVID-19 regulations set forth by the CDC and local governments we ask that all funeral attendees to please abide by the social distancing guideline, please refrain from hugging, and please wear a mask.
