He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Dorothy Love of McColl, SC.; his wife Cathy McInnis Evans; his children, Dottie Love Farfone (Scott) of Charleston, SC, Carrie Love McDuffie (Robert) of Bennettsville, SC and Gordon William Love of Tatum, SC; his siblings, Catherine Love Vitale (Anthony) of Chapin, SC and Alan Gibson Love of McColl, SC; his brother-in-law Dr. George Levkoff of Chapin, SC.; his grandchildren, Brooke, Jackson and Rivers Farfone of Charleston, SC.; his former wife Myrtle Moore; and his sister Linda Levkoff.
He was instrumental in establishing the CareSouth Wellness Center, "Smiles For Miles" mobile dental bus, and most recently mobile Covid-19 testing vans.
