It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Evans of McColl, South Carolina, born in Bennettsville, South Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James U. Evans Sr. and Sarah P. Evans; and his brother Michael Evans. He is survived by: his siblings, James U. Evans, Jr. (Chinetha Tedda) of Charlotte, NC, Paul Benthall of Atlanta, GA., Linda Evans of McColl, SC, Kimberly Evans of McColl, SC, Annett Evans of Laurinburg, NC and Carletha Erlene McNealy (Ja'Riques James McNealy) of Fayetteville, NC.; his cousins, Big Michael Norman and Little Michael Norman; his close friends, Jonas Pritt and Lonnie Davis; and his friend Patricia Clark. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
