He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Bailey and Annie Flowers Bailey; and his siblings, Margie Murrell, Alvin Buford "AB" Bailey and James Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Douglas Bailey; his children, Timothy Bailey (Hilda) of McColl, Jeffery Bailey (Crystal) of McColl, Rodney Bailey (Shannon) of McColl and Stephania McCollum (Brock) of McColl; his grandchildren, Brett Bailey, Jeana Bailey, Lindsay Grooms, Douglas Bailey, Bryce Bailey, Anna McCollum and Nora Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Erin Grooms and Ava Grooms.
