She was predeceased by: her parents, Isiah Geathers and Janie Manigault Geathers; her son Samuel Lee Harrell; and her siblings, George Geathers, Jeremiah Geathers, Martin Geathers, Lucille Phyall, Caroline Dilligard, Sadie Weems and Mary Emma Manning.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur Lee Harrell, Jr. (Joanna), Von Ester Milford (Henry) and Maxine Weston (Glen); her siblings, David Geathers (Linda) of McClellanville, SC, Sterling Geathers (Celeste) of McClellanville, SC, Sara A. Robinson (Carl) of Richmond, VA and Lillian Weathers of Bronx, NY; and her siblings-in-law, Arthur Phyall of McClellanville, SC, Samuel Donald Harrell (Margie) of Edenton, NC and Helen Alexander of Staten Island, NY. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bryan McNeal Sr. Memorial Chapel (4129 Highway 17 North, Awendaw, SC 29429).
