He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Carlotta; his former wife Mary Anne; his children, Kathleen, Julie and Theodore (Skip); his wife Elizabeth; and his children, Philip and Meghan. He was also cherished by children, six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests making a donation to The Village Museum in McClellanville, SC or The United States Merchant Marine Academy Alumni Association and Foundation in Ted's name.
