Simmons and Demetrius Simmons; her siblings, Harold Brown, Jr., Alethia Brown and James Carlton Brown; and her grandchildren, James Simmons, IV, Donovan X. Simmons and Caitlin I. Simmons. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
