He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Johnson, Sr. and Earlene A. Williams; and his parents-in-law, Eliza C. Powell and Bennie E. Powell. He is survived by: his wife Dollie A. Johnson; his children, Sissi Johnson, Charles W. Johnson, III, Jeanette Johnson, Demetria Johnson and Y'Liska Johnson-Nabach; his grandchildren, Khloe McLeod and Ardaja McLeod, Jr.; and his brother James A. Williams.
