He was predeceased by: his mother Windy Smothers McLendon; his grandparents, Jane Schaefer, Randy Schaefer and Mike Smothers; and his great-grandparents, G. W. Smothers and Jerdgie Smothers.

He is survived by: his grandmother Marcella Smothers; his aunts, Ava Smothers (Michael Smith), Cindy Evans (Marchele) and Columbia; his uncle Jason Schaefer; and his cousins, Levi Smith, Ellie Smith and Mason Smith.
