He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Mae Leach Jowers; his children, Darren Jowers (Jackie), Angela Teresa Jowers and Micheal Paul Jowers; his siblings, Vera Drakeford (William) and Freddie Wilson; his grandchildren, Zana, Zannie, Raven and Courtney; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Micah, Kade, Aaliyah, Grayson and Braxton; his aunts, Elizabeth Sullivan, Beulah James (Henry), Edell Jowers, Mattie Jowers and Alean King; and his son John Jowers, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.
