He is survived by: his wife Marian Smith; his stepchildren, Brenda Crump (Hugh) of Cramerton and James Allegra, II of Charlotte; his stepgrandsons, Hugh Crump of Cramerton, John Crump of Cramerton and Jack Crump of Cramerton; and his sister Cathy Cotton of Waxhaw.
