It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa O'Fair of Mayo, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Baxter and Cletus Gaffney; her children, Terry Lee O'Fair and Luther O'Fair, Jr.; and her siblings, Calvin Baxter, Lovely Phillips and Mary Helen Baxter.
She is survived by: her husband Luther B. O'Fair; her children, Kathy Edwards (Ralph) of Boiling Springs, SC, Sheila Gardner of Duncan, SC, Lorraine O'Fair of Boiling Springs, SC, Kenneth O'Fair (Carol) of Boiling Springs, SC and Michael O'Fair (Yolanda) of Chesnee, SC; and her siblings, Myra Ann Phillips (Bill) of Caroline, NC, Hazel Baxter of Chesnee, SC, Freda Roberts of Shelby, NC, Hazeline Phillips of Chesnee, SC, Napoleon Baxter of Chesnee, SC, Gary Baxter of Chesnee, SC, Lonnie Baxter of Cheverly, MD, Ronnie Baxter of Rock Hill, SC and Riley Baxter (Mae) of Inman, SC. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces nephews, and other relatives and friends.
