It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry D. Wood of Mayo, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leonard Wood and Catherine Lena Wood of Spartanburg, SC.; his wife Minnie Dorine Potter "Dodie"; his daughters, Michele and Michelle Morris (Tony); his granddaughter Kimberly Lauren Carroll; and his brother Jimmy Wood.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darla Carroll (Kenny) and Lori Hogan (Chris); his sister Linda Horton (Marvin); his sister-in-law Becky Wood Waters (Wesley); his grandchildren, Scottie (Sarah), Nancy (David), Austin, Harley (Jacob) and Will (Brooke); and his great grandchildren, Lauren Faith, Aubry, Jackson, Kaleigh, Brooke, Hunter and Jayce.
