It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Queenie Hunter (Mayesville, South Carolina), who passed away on September 11, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maydell McGee and Henry McGee; her son Jamie McGee; her sister Rosa Clavon; her nephew Jimmy Wilson; and her brother-in-law Marion Clavon.

She is survived by: her husband Anthony Hunter; her sisters, Barbara Carolina of Mayesville, SC and Delores Cox of Sumter, SC; her nieces and nephews, Jacqueline Clavon, Rico Wilson, Lorenzo Wilson, Anthony Clavon, Ransom Floyd and Tiffany Jefferson; her brother Johnny Howard; her aunts and uncles, Sylvester McGee, Leroy Hudson, Josephine Yearwood and Susan Hudson; and her close friends, Viola Jefferson and Ella Brunson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
