She was predeceased by: her parents, Essie Mae Wilson and Willie Lee Wilson; and her son Deakwon Martin. She is survived by: her husband Bernard Martin; her daughters, Shae'Quonda Martin (Shay) and Chavonda Martin (Kia); her granddaughter Peyton Martin (Mya); her siblings, Lois Peterson, Patricia Wilson and Michael Wilson; her close friends, Rachel Richardson, Tiara Colclough and Tyrique Smith; and her godchildren, Leir Smith and Leila Smith. She is also survived by many others relatives and friends.
In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 1079 South St. Paul Church Road, Sumter.
