He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Russell Voorhees and Gladys Frances Tombs Voorhees; and his brother Larry Voorhees. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Voorhees; his son James Roy Voorhees (Kim); his sister Teri Mashanski; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emery and Haley.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Southeast Chapel (1604 NE Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Cooper Veterans Cemetery (140 Inway Dr, Anderson, SC 29621).
