We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Merita Barrett Hall of Mauldin, South Carolina, born in Laurens, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Hall; her parents, James Barrett and Ethel Barrett; and her grandson David Pruett. She is survived by: her children, Kayla H. Sloan (John) and John Hall, Jr. (Sherry); her sister Martha Jean Knox; her grandchildren, John "Trey" L. Sloan, III (Marley), Elaine L. Sloan, John W. Sloan (Jocelyn), April Bayne (Tyson) and Katie Sesit (Dane); and her great grandchildren, Penelope Sesit, Bennett Burkett, Liam Sloan, Lindsay Pruett, Maddie Sloan and Emma Sloan.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Greenville Memorial Park (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).

Memorials can be made in memory of Rita to the Western North Carolina Relief or the Greenville Humane Society.
