She was predeceased by: her parents, John Durham and Agatha Harper Raines; her husband Olan M. Porter; her daughter Nancy Rosales Palmer; and her siblings, Hilda Nix (JE) and John O. "Jack" Raines (Irma).

She is survived by: her son Alan Porter (Joan); and her grandchildren, Wendy Lanier (Derrick), David Rosales (Katie), Jason Porter (Staci) and Alison Butcher (Josh). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
