It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thelma Clark (Marion, South Carolina), born in McCormick, South Carolina, who passed away on May 5, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Thomas B. Clark, Jr.; her grandson Marion Hiott Clark; her parents, Marion Bradley and B. I. Chiles of Greenwood; and her siblings, Vivian Counts of North Augusta, Margaret Barnes of Huntsville, AL and James Chiles of Greenwood.

She is survived by: her son Thomas B. Clark, III (Nancy Ferree-Clark) of Tacoma, WA; her granddaughter Elizabeth Ferree Clark; her sons, James C. Clark (Robert E. Grindle) of Clarks Green, PA and Joseph D. Clark (Wendy Hiott Clark) of West Columbia; her grandsons, Bradley and Lucas Clark; her sister Irene Browning of Madison, AL; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth L. Chiles of Greenwood.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Still Hopes Resident Assistance Fund, One Still Hopes Drive, West Columbia, SC 29169; Washington Street United Methodist Church Foundation, 1401 Washington Street, Columbia, SC 29201; or First United Methodist Church Foundation, 307 East Godbold Street, Marion, SC 29571.
