It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Stanton of Marion, South Carolina, who passed away on March 15, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey B. Stanton, Sr. and Mary Velva Stanton; his wife Judy Lane Stanton; and his siblings, Dewey B. Stanton, Jr., Douglas Edward Stanton, Margaret Stanton, Carolyn Stanton, Barbara L Uber and Janette Amspacher.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Collins (Tony) of Mullins and Teresa Martin (Craig) of Marion; his granddaughters, Savannah Collins and Ansley Martin; and his siblings, James Troy Stanton (Pat) of Jacksonville, NC, Bobbie Jean Huggins of Floydale, SC, Edna Earle Willoughby of Nichols, SC and Rosemary Buffkins of Mullins, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
