He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Shuler Prickett and Fuller McIver Prickett; and his brother-in-law Edward Tanner. He is survived by: his wife Shan; his sons, Fuller McIver Prickett III (Keever), Dalton Shuler Prickett (Melissa) of Columbia and Philip Marion Prickett of Mount Pleasant; his sister Lillian Prickett Tanner; his niece Becky Tanner Glaze (Chris); his nephew Will Tanner (Beth); his grandchildren, Lauren Prickett Carter (Keith), Alexis Prickett Adams (AJ), Sarah Prickett Pate (Charles), McIver Cureton, Lucas McCain, Austin Shuler Prickett, John Philip, Mary McIver and Carolyn Elizabeth Prickett; and his great grandchildren, Charlie and Stella Pate.
