She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Lane and Sue Baxley Lane; her husband Hal T. Stanley; her brothers, Frank Lane and Melvin Lane; her half-sisters, Reba Tanner, Bessie Tyndell, Ora Mae Brown, Nadine Willie and Helen Atkinson; and her son-in-law William Swope (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, Sherrill Stanley of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Kay Stanley of Cary, NC and Tom Stanley of Marion, SC; her grandchildren, Tyler Stanley of Greenville, SC, Ramsey McBride (Phillip) of Simpsonville, SC and Will Swope (Denise) of Charleston, SC; her great grandchild Harper McBride; her niece Ann Hornbeck (Wade) of Timberville, VA.; and also Melinda Stanley of Florence, SC.
